The coordination Union for the rehabilitation of the Environment (CURE) is facilitating the training of the Village Natural resource Management Committee (VNRMC) mebers in the areas of Group Village Head Nkupu and Dokotala in  Chiradzulu Distirct.

The Training is an effort to strengthen the community structures by equipping them with skills required to lead others into vsarious community based developmental initiatives including environment and Natural resource management.

Chiradzulu District Forestry officers, Community Development Officers and CURE staff are delivering these training to about 40 VNRMC members, Village development Committees and  over 15 Village Heads  from the two GVHs.

CURE upholds the value that Community Based Natural Resource Management remains the most effective approach for the successful attainment of a sustainable environment. Empowering these community leaders means the transfer of the skills to the custodians of the conservations areas hence creating a more resilient communities.
